DBP Gliwice comprises 55,000 sqm in three halls

Danish pre-insulated pipe manufacturer Logstor has leased an additional 2,000 sqm of warehouse space at Diamond Business Park Gliwice, which is owned by White Star Real Estate.

Logstor’s pre-insulated pipes are used for district heating and system cooling by the petrochemical and food sectors. Logstor is a long-time tenant of ours who recently signalled to us that they would need to expand their space from the 5,000 sqm they have leased so far by at least another 2,000 sqm. As a result, we were able to prepare for the tenant's larger needs in a convenient part of the park, which was adjacent to the space they had previously used.Urszula Rasmussen, the head of indu

This was 36 pct above the five-year average and the sector’s third-highest first-half investment volume on record, after 2020 and 2021. The strong showing was driven by more than a return of large deals, however. Investors are increasingly prioritising long-term, predictable income, while sale-and-leaseback transactions are becoming an increasingly important way of bringing assets to market.

Romania Romania’s Retail Market Grows

Romania’s consumer spending continued to support the expansion of the retail sector in 2025 despite persistent inflationary pressures. The 125 major retailers analysed generated more than EUR 42 bln in sales during the year, representing a 5.6 pct increase compared with 2024 and a 77 pct increase compared with 2019, according to the 'Romania Retail Snapshot 2026', published by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. The study is based on the financial results of companies operating across 13 retail segments.

Poland Splot Wola nears completion

Matexi Polska is entering the final stage of its Splot Wola residential development at ul. Sowińskiego 28 in Warsaw, with more than 75 pct of the apartments already sold. Construction is also nearing completion, with work scheduled to finish in Q3 2026. The occupancy permit is expected to follow, with apartment handovers planned for Q4.

EPP has completed the EUR 106 mln refinancing of four M1 shopping centres in Bytom, Częstochowa, Poznań and Radom. The refinancing supports the company’s efforts to optimise its capital structure. Absa Corporate and Investment Banking and Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (Nedbank CIB) provided the financing in equal shares.

Poland Dekpol to redevelop the Poznań Palm House

The City of Poznań and Dekpol Budownictwo have signed a contract for the major redevelopment of the Poznań Palm House. The city’s landmark attraction will undergo an extensive upgrade to bring it up to modern technical standards and provide better conditions for its plants and animals. The contract was signed on 17 August, with Dekpol Budownictwo appointed as the general contractor.

FutureMeds, a company specialising in clinical trials for new drugs and therapies, is expanding its presence at the Infinity office building in Wrocław. Under a long-term lease agreement, the company has taken an additional 592 sqm on the building’s fourth floor. 7R has launched construction on 7R Park Szczecin South, a two-building centre that will eventually comprise around 29,000 sqm. The sole tenant of the first building will be e-commerce logistics operator Procent Poland, with a lease of 23,000 sqm. The second smaller building of the complex will have an area of around 5,000 sqm.

Squarebizz Bory hits top 5 for excellence

Squarebizz Business Center Bory has achieved BREEAM In-Use ‘Excellent’ rating for asset performance with an overall score of 75.1 pct, putting it in the top five facilities in Slovakia. The owner and developer of the industrial and business park is Karimpol.

A manufacturing and industrial sector company has extended its lease for app. 45,500 sqm at the Sosnowiec Distribution Centre. The landlord, CBRE Investment Management, was advised by Cushman & Wakefield during the transaction, while also being supported by Argon Legal.

Formade happy in MLP Pruszków II

Formade, the owner of the Fabryka Form furniture and home fittings store chain, has renewed its lease at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park for another term. The company has been operating at the park since 2021. Triflow advised the tenant throughout the lease renegotiation process.

7R acquires site near Nadarzyn for 60k project

7R has acquired a 14 ha site in Stara Wieś near Nadarzyn (about 27 km southwest of central Warsaw) for the development of a 60,000 sqm warehousing and logistics park.

Futureal launches energy storage systems for HelloParks
