Poland Powerful photovoltaic farm in Przykona

Infrastructure
Electrum is building a 200 MW solar farm for EDP Renewables. The project will be built on 245 hectares in the Przykona municipality in the Greater Poland voivodeship. The investment is being carried out in record time of less than a year. The engineering work is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2023.

The PV Przykona photovoltaic farm is another large-scale RES investment implemented by the Białystok-based Electrum Group. The investment is being built on the site of the Adamów lignite mine, where two other photovoltaic projects are also being implemented. The area has the potential to become a Polish photovoltaic farm basin in the future.

Electrum will be responsible for the development of full project documentation, construction and installation of approx. 308,000 photovoltaic panels, 712 inverters and 27 transformer stations. The total length of cable lines used in the project is over 1,000 km. The photovoltaic farm in Przykona will use Sungrow photovoltaic inverters enabling energy conversion at any scale.

As a company, we are systematically building the sustainable energy ecosystem of the future and accelerating the green transformation process. We attach great importance to the logistics of our investments, which is particularly important at the moment, when we are simultaneously working on two investments with a capacity of 200 MW
Jacek Poplawski, Director of Strategy and Development at Electrum Holding

Electrum Group is currently involved in the implementation of several large-scale photovoltaic farms, including Poland's first solar-wind hybrid power plant - Kleczew Solar & Wind. The investment, which is being carried out for the Lewandpol Group and has a total connecting capacity of 205 MW, is being built in Kleczew in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Completion of the first stage of work (construction of the solar farm) is scheduled for the second half of 2023.

The project in Kleczew uses our proprietary solution - the Renedium 1.0 active and reactive power regulator - which enables cooperation with several generation sources: wind, solar, water, biogas, energy storage, nuclear and others.
Karol Łapiński, technical director of Electrum Solutions

EDP Renewables is the world's fourth largest producer of renewable energy. The company is present in 28 countries, including China, the United States, Germany and Brazil. The Electrum Group offers comprehensive solutions for the latest development, construction and project management technologies in the areas of energy and information.
