American bank BNY Mellon has signed a ten-year lease agreement for all the office space – app. 20,300 sqm – in the second phase of the Centrum Południe office complex, which has been developed by Skanska in Wrocław.
This is the largest office lease in the city since 2020 and also includes 191 parking spaces. The remaining space in the building is designated for retail and services, including a kindergarten. In total, 93 pct of the building is leased.
BNY Mellon, which is active in capital markets and holds USD 1.9 tln AUM, is consolidating all its local employees in the building, where it will be moving to in April 2024. The bank was advised by JLL during the leasing process.
