PepsiCo has opened its fifth production plant in Poland in Święte, Lower Silesia. The investment, worth more than PLN 1 bln, will help expand the company's product range and increase the scale of production targeting 20 European markets.
In the new facility, chips of the Lay's and Doritos brands will be produced. The total area of the development, which includes PepsiCo's production plant together with office space, a warehouse and a purification plant, is 54,700 sqm, while the production hall itself is 23,000 sqm. Budimex was the general contractor.
The facility is expected to achieve net zero emissions by 2035, and the value of the environmental solutions used is PLN 30.3 mln. The property has technical and machinery faciliti
