Poland EUR 75 mln for Cedet

PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has granted a 75 mln euro investment loan to a Polish company managed by Macquarie Asset Management. The loan will be used to refinance the Cedet office building in Warsaw.

Cedet, an office building located at ul. Krucza in Warsaw's Central Business District, is a unique project illustrating the potential for renovation and expansion. The building was constructed in 1952 and was formerly known as the Central Department Store. Between 2014 and 2018, the facility was redeveloped and modernised to BREEAM Excellent standard. Cedet currently offers retail units and high-end office space, with a total leasable area of over 23,800 sqm. The building is fully leased.

Poland Data centres could supply more heat to Polish cities

Poland’s growing data centre market could create a significant new source of waste heat for heating networks. According to analysis by the Polish Data Centre Association, if the market continues to expand, recovered heat from data centres could equal more than 7 pct of the heat currently supplied to Poland’s district heating networks by 2030. By 2035, that figure could reach 16 pct.
