Czech Republic Korean tyres at CTP

Warehouse & industrial
Fiege, a provider of logistics and transport services, has leased 18,000 sqm in an industrial and logistics building under construction at CTPark Žatec.

This will be Fiege's third location at CTP facilities, and the total space occupied by Fiege at CTParks in the Czech Republic and Poland will be 59,000 sqm. From April 2024, the new regional distribution centre at CTPark Žatec will be used to store Nexen Tire Europe tyres and deliver them to car manufacturers' plants across Europe. South Korean tyre manufacturer Nexen Tire Europe has a European production facility nearby.

The project at CTPark Žatec is a response to the growing trend of nearshoring, in which companies are moving production closer to their main markets. Our cooperation with CTP and the use of state-of-the-art technology in our new distribution centre will enable us to provide efficient and sustainable logistics services.
David Peterka, head of Business Development at Fiege

The new hall, part of which will be occupied by Fiege, has an area of 71,000 sqm and will be certified to the BREEAM New Construction standard of Excellent. CTPark Žatec is located about 30 km from the German border, off the D8 motorway and near the D7 motorway connecting Prague and Chomutov.
