Poland Natek Poland opens Wrocław office

IT and outsourcing supplier Natek has opened a new 600 sqm office in the Infinity building in Wrocław.
The company's new branch is located on the fifth floor of the office building and is its second to open in Poland in recent months. In February, Natek celebrated moving its Polish headquarters to the Q22 office building in central Warsaw. In this year alone, the company has hired 400 additional staff/ Brookfield partners supported Natek in the negotiation for the seven-year lease as well as in the design of the new space. BIG Poland will open BIG Olkusz retail park on October 22. The 13,500 sqm GLA project was developed in cooperation with BOIG The Blue Ocean Investment Group. Following the opening, BIG Poland will have 14 operating retail parks with a combined leasable area of approximately 271,500 sqm.

Peakside Capital Advisors has completed construction of Hall D at the City Point Targówek complex in Warsaw and secured an occupancy permit. The building offers 17,000 sqm of space and is fully leased. Construction is also underway on another SBU hall, which will provide more than 12,400 sqm of warehouse, production and service space.

Yareal has started construction of an apartment building at ul. Mickiewicza 63 in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district. The intimate development will comprise 66 apartments, while more than one-third of the site will be occupied by a garden sheltered from the street. CFE Polska is the project’s general contractor.

Skanska has implemented a digital access control system at Studio A, an office building in Warsaw. The solution uses the company’s proprietary StudioApp web application and web provisioning technology, allowing users to access the building with virtual cards stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet without installing an additional app.

A traditional topping-out ceremony has been held at the construction site of the new primary school in Biedrusko. The project on Chludowska Street, being developed by Dekpol Budownictwo, has reached another key milestone. According to Suchy Las municipality, it is the largest educational investment in its history. The new school will accommodate up to 600 pupils.

Poland Data centres could supply more heat to Polish cities

Poland’s growing data centre market could create a significant new source of waste heat for heating networks. According to analysis by the Polish Data Centre Association, if the market continues to expand, recovered heat from data centres could equal more than 7 pct of the heat currently supplied to Poland’s district heating networks by 2030. By 2035, that figure could reach 16 pct.
