Poland DB Schenker to move into Rawicz

DB Schenker provides land, air and ocean transport services and also offers comprehensive contract logistics and global chain management solutions. At the Hillwood Rawicz warehouse centre, the company has leased 17,000 sqm of warehouse space and 330 sqm for offices. This will be the company's 16th warehouse location.

Contract logistics is a very important and intensively developing business area at DB Schenker. The warehouse in Rawicz is our next location over the last few years. The space has been designed to serve the logistics needs of a manufacturer of optical products, and the assortment stored here will include more than 30,000 types of articles, so-called SKUs.

The Hillwood Rawicz logistics centre has been certified at the Excellent level by BREEAM. The park offers nearly 147,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. It is located in Korzeńsko in the municipality of Żmigród, on the border of the Wielkopolskie and Dolnośląskie provinces, by the S5 expressway linking Poznań and Wrocław.
