Poland GLP is expanding in Silesia

GLP Gliwice II Logistics Centre already has its first tenant. The general contractor is Bremer, with construction expected to be completed by mid-2025. The investor is a Czech fund for qualified investors, Merity.

The facility is located on Kozielska Street, near the A4 motorway junction and national road 88. The site will feature two buildings, measuring 41,000 and 16,000 sqm, respectively. The smaller one has been leased by a global provider of logistics and transportation services for the industrial and trade sectors. The building will support one of the company’s clients in the automotive industry.

The GLP Gliwice II Logistics Centre will incorporate a range of solutions commonly found in other GLP buildings. These include provisions for installing photovoltaic panels on the roofs, a utility management system, enhanced insulation, and reinforced floor load-bearing capacity. The project is expected to achieve BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. GLP operates four logistics parks in the Upper Silesia and Zagłębie regions, covering a total area of over 300,000 sqm.
