Poland Furniture manufacturer secures 21,800 sqm at MLP Teresin

MLP Group has signed a new long-term lease agreement at the MLP Teresin logistics centre. Fabryka Mebli Akord has contracted a total of 21,800 sqm of warehouse space. Approx. 21,200 sqm will be used for storage purposes, while the remaining space will be used for staff facilities and offices. The tenant will be granted early access at the beginning of April, and the handover of the full space is planned for September.

The transaction was mediated by Axi Immo.

Founded in 1995, Fabryka Mebli Akord is a Polish furniture manufacturer. The new location will become the company's main warehouse, alongside the existing distribution centres in Germany and France. The company plans to expand further into European markets.

The client’s decision to choose the MLP Teresin distribution centre was driven by several key factors. One of the most important was its proximity to the existing factory, allowing for efficient logistics and the retention of the current workforce—an essential aspect in maintaining the company's operational continuity. Additionally, the high standards of the MLP facility, including reinforced flooring, a high density of loading docks, a spacious maneuvering area, and the flexibility to adapt the space, ensured that the new hall met all the client's technical requirements.

The MLP Teresin park consists of warehouse halls with a total area of around 38,000 sqm. The complex covers an area of over 10 ha in Gnatowice Stare in the municipality of Kampinos, 45 km west of the centre of Warsaw.

In line with its ‘build & hold’ strategy, MLP Group retains and independently manages logistics parks in its portfolio after their construction is completed.
