Strabag to build Atrium Felicity in Lublin

Strabag is to lead the consortium that has been selected. Work on the construction of the facility is to start this month. Strabag is to build the gallery, an eight-screen cinema and an underground car park (1,600 spaces). In addition, the company is to finish two buildings: a hypermarket and a DIY market with all the necessary infrastructure, as well as app. 1,000 parking spaces. The contract is worth EUR 55.4 mln, of which Strabag is to receive EUR 42.5 mln and the other consortium partners EUR 12.9 mln. The total area of the project will come to 160,000 sqm. The centre will contain 135 shops over an area of 74,000 sqm. According to Katarzyna Cyz, the managing director of Atrium Poland Real Estate Management, the centre is already 55 pct leased, to tenants including brands from the Inditex group (Zara, Zara Home, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Oysho and Massimo Dutti), Reserved, Mohito, House, H&M and Intersport. The developer has also signed a contract with a hypermarket chain, which will to occupy 20,000 sqm. The completion of the project is scheduled for February 2014.
