Mostostal Zabrze suffers 2012 losses
POLAND Construction group Mostostal Zabrze suffered a net loss in 2012 of more than PLN 11.5 mln, after generating a profit of PLN 27.9 mln a year earlier, according to a report drawn up by the company. Its sales revenue reached PLN 661 mln, compared to PLN 732.7 mln a year earlier.

POLAND Irish developer Caelum Development has set up Caelum Real Estate Asset Management (CREAM).
Office and warehousing up, but slower retail growth
POLAND The supply of office space in Warsaw increased by 270,000 sqm in 2012 and currently amounts to nearly 2.9 mln sqm, according to a report by DTZ. Another 650,000 sqm is under construction, which “will translate into a high level of supply in the next two years,” claim the authors of the report.

POLAND Building material producer Saint-Gobain Group has leased app. 2,400 sqm of office space in the Iris building in Warsaw.

CZECH REPUBLIC Karlín Group has sold the Corso IIB office project in Prague to Skanska Property Czech Republic, according to local media reports.
Good year for Echo
POLAND Echo Investment has reported its results for 2012. Its operating revenue amounted to PLN 583.6 mln, up on the PLN 406.9 mln it made in 2011.
Mixed last quarter for Prima Moda
POLAND Footwear chain Prima Moda has published its results for Q4 2012. Over the period the company restructured its sales division, closing down two stores.
Sfinks turning the corner
POLAND Sfinks Polska has reported its results for 2012. Net revenue for the restaurant chain came to PLN 170.9 mln, while registering an operating loss of PLN 2.6 mln (compared to a loss of PLN 9.9 mln in 2011).

Takko Fashion and Toys’R’Us choose Auchan
POLAND Takko Fashion has leased stores in two Auchan shopping centres in Silesia. The stores are to be opened in Katowice and Gliwice and will occupy 449 sqm and 378 sqm respectively.
Work on My Box begins
POLAND Construction work on the My Box retail park in Oława has begun. Skanska is the general contractor of the 2,000 sqm facility, which is being built on ul. Ks. Kutrowskiego.
Nine new stores in Galeria Solna
POLAND A number of new stores are to open in the Galeria Solna shopping centre in Inowrocław, including Esotiq, Lavard, Orange, Plus, Kolporter, Kornecki and furniture stores Antrax and Lawabo Meble.
Lowest ever supply with second highest take-up
HUNGARY Office supply in Budapest was the lowest ever in 2012, according to figures released by DTZ. The total stock increased by 22,950 sqm to reach nearly 3.2 mln sqm.
AFI Park 1 almost full
ROMANIA The AFI Park 1 office building in Bucharest is now 85 pct leased. IT company Endava, one of the anchor tenants of the building, has decided to expand its existing 2,400 sqm of office space by a further 600 sqm.
Cypriots to build High Tatras park
SLOVAKIA Park Snow Veľká Lomnica, a subsidiary of Cyprus-registered Park Snow Limited, is planning to build an amusement park in Veľká Lomnica in the High Tatras, according to local media.
Warimpex issues EUR 15.1 mln of bonds
POLAND Warimpex has issued bonds in Poland to the value of PLN 63.1 mln (app. EUR 15.1 mln), with each bond worth PLN 1,000 (app. EUR 250).
IHG signs franchise deal to build 15 hotels
RUSSIA InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a franchise multiple development agreement (MDA) with Regional Hotel Chain, a portfolio company of VIY Management (VIYM), to develop 15 new hotels in Russia by 2019.
No complaints from Dom Development
POLAND Development company Dom Development has summed up 2012 as a difficult but successful year. The company sold 1,436 apartments over the year, nearly 300 fewer than in 2011.
All LPP brands in Gemini Park
POLAND All LPP brands (Reserved, Cropp Town, House, Mohito and Sinsay) are to have stores in the new extension to the Gemini Park Bielsko-Biała shopping centre, occupying a combined area of 3,300 sqm.
