New Bucharest store for Kenvelo

CFI invests in Falenty
POLAND Central Fund of Immovables, a subsidiary of CFI Holding, has finished the first stage of redevelopment and conversion work on a conference centre in Falenty near Warsaw. Plans are also in place to extend the facility.

POLAND The EU competition authorities have consented to the acquisition by Segro European Logistics Partnership (SELP) of the Gliwice 5 warehouse.

Accor to blend hotels with hostels
EUROPE AccorHotels is to create a new hotel brand Jo&Joe, which will combine features of private-rental, hostel and hotel formats and even some Google campus style work spaces. About 50 such hotels are to be built by the year 2020.

Warsaw retail stock keeps growing
POLAND Over 135,000 sqm of retail space was under construction in the Warsaw agglomeration at the end of H1 2016, with those projects scheduled to be completed this year located outside the administrative borders of the Polish capital, according to the “Shopping centres in agglomerations Q2 2016/Warsaw” report by Colliers International.

CZECH REPUBLIC Austrian real estate company CA Immo has signed an agreement to sell the Šestka shopping centre in Prague to a fund that belongs to Prague-based investment bank Wood & Company as it continues to withdraw from what it views as a non-core sector.
Neinver trumpeting green policies
EUROPE Spanish developer Neinver is the first shopping centre manager in Europe to have had its whole portfolio certified under the energy efficiency standard ISO 50001, claims the company in its recent Sustainability Report.

Mera to become Marriott in Sopot
POLAND The Mera Spa Hotel in Sopot is to be converted into a Marriott Hotel next year after Marriott International’s signing of an agreement with Vastint Poland and Legend Hotels Poland, respectively the owner and the operator of the property.

Hala Koszyki now full
POLAND A total of 18 catering facilities are to open in Hala Koszyki as well as, 11 grocery stores, including the Bazar Koszyki market open seven days a week, a bookshop, a store with kitchen equipment and home decorations, and the Comfort Food Studio culinary academy.

Delphi Poland to expand in Enterprise Park
POLAND Delphi Poland has signed a lease for a further 6,300 sqm in the Enterprise Park complex in Kraków. The company will move into the ‘F’ building, which is part of the fourth stage of the project and is to be completed in December 2017.
