Hong Kong airlines turn to Kraków
POLAND Cathay Pacific, the flag carrier of Hong Kong, has leased 1,500 sqm in the Aleja Pokoju 5 office building in Kraków’s CBD. The tenant will open the fourth hub of its Global Contact Centre network in the new premises.
C.H. Robinson takes up residence in Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz
POLAND C.H. Robinson is to move its operations to a logistics park in Bydgoszcz, which has been delivered by Panattoni Europe, and it will lease an area of 4,360 sqm.

Sawa provides for the elderly
POLAND Sawa Apartments is entering the market of high-end medical and wellness centres for clients who are 55 years of age or older. Its first project will be carried out in Zegrze Północne (Serock administrative district, Legionowo county) on Lake Zegrzyńskie, while the second project will be a luxury medical centre in Warsaw.
Most vacancies in centre of Warsaw
POLAND According to Knight Frank, nearly 40 pct of Warsaw vacancies are in office buildings located in a central location. This is the effect of an oversupply provided by developers in the city centre, the Żoliborz district and along Al. Jerozolimskie.

Transcom finds office in Białystok
POLAND Transcom, a supplier of customer service outsourcing, has chosen the Świętojańska Office Building for its new service centre in Białystok. The company has leased an area of 930 sqm on the third floor of the office building. JLL represented Transcom in the process of searching the new area and negotiating contract conditions.

POLAND Awbud is to build a warehouse for Konsorcjum Stali (Steel Consortium) in Zawiercie.

Dekpol goes to the beach
POLAND Dekpol, which offers general contractor services, has signed a contract with Arkony Sopot concerning the construction of an apartment and hotel project in Sopot. The contract includes the redevelopment and extension of a pre-war La Playa Palace villa as well as the construction of the La Playa Apartments boarding house, the development of the area and the construction of the road and pavement layout. The project is located between ul. Wosia Budzysza and ul. Powstańców Warszawy, in the direct vicinity of Park Północny and the beach.
Speculation is blooming
POLAND The Poznań region is one of the most dynamically developing warehouse locations in Poland, reports Axi Immo. The supply of modern warehouse space in the region exceeded 1.5 mln sqm at the end of June this year.
