POLAND Dom Development is has started the sale of apartments in the Wille Taneczna estate. The project is to be built at ul. Taneczna 61 in Warsaw’s Ursynów district. The offer includes 119 apartments with areas ranging in size from 37.02 sqm to 99.66 sqm. The construction is to start soon.
POLAND RealCo Property Investment and Development has reported that last March it purchased a historical property in Wrocław – the Młyn Maria complex. The company is planning to renovate it while preserving its historical architectural details. The Maćków studio is responsible for the design.

POLAND The expansion of the Auchan shopping centre in Białystok is about to start. Thanks to the new extension the shopping centre is to gain an extra 5,800 sqm retail area. The general contractor of the project on ul. Hetmańska is Instal Białystok. The opening of the new extension is planned for H1 2017.
POLAND The Ovo Wrocław complex has started cooperation with a supplier of concierge services in Poland – the Warsaw Concierge Group.

POLAND The final stretch of the A4 motorway from Rzeszów to Jarosław, which was constructed by a consortium of Budimex and Strabag, is now complete. The official opening of the Rzeszów East – Jarosław section of the A4 motorway took place on July 20th. The A4 motorway is part of the route stretching from Western Europe to Ukraine.

POLAND Dekpol is to carry out a new residential project in TriCity. The Na Fali estate will be built in Gdynia’s Pogórze district, near the Mechelinki and Rewa beaches, right next to the limits of Kosakowo. It is Dekpol’s first development in Gdynia.

POLAND Skanska is planning to make 1,150 people redundant in Poland. Piotr Janiszewski, president of the board at Skanska, assures us that the current situation has no impact on other companies from the group.
POLAND Budimex group sales in H1 2016 amounted to PLN 2.4 bln and were over PLN 160 mln higher compared to the same period last year. Its net profit increased by 6 pct and totalled PLN 146.5 mln. The construction sector was the driving force of the growth. It increased by 9.4 pct y-o-y.
EUROPE According to a report from Deloitte entitled ‘European Powers of Construction 2015’, the market capitalisation of the fifty largest construction companies in Europe increased by as much as 21 pct and their total sales in 2015 increased by 5 pct y-o-y. These are the best results since 2007.

POLAND The Nowy Punkt 2 estate in Warsaw’s Targówek district is to be built by Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane Besta of Rzeszów. Napollo has settled a tender procedure to determine the general contractor for the project. The work is to start this summer and finish in autumn next year.
