Faymonville Polska prepares for future expansion
POLAND Faymonville Polska has purchased 4.5 ha plot in Goleniów Technological Park from the Goleniów administrative district in a tender. The land is to be used for the future extension of its manufacturing plant.

Echo releases H1 results
POLAND Echo Investment Group has released its results for H1 2016 recording a revenue of PLN 280.5 mln compared to PLN 273.8 mln for the same period of the previous year. Gross sales profit was up by PLN 10.5 mln to PLN 145.4 mln with an operating profit up from PLN 31.3 mln to PLN 404 mln and net profit up from PLN 22.7 mln to PLN 299 mln.

Art House to open in the spring
POLAND The Art House art gallery is to be developed near Warsaw’s Ujazdowski Park. The project, at the junction of ul. Piękna and ul. Johna Lennona, will also serve as the new headquarters of the Desa Unicum auction house, which is currently situated on ul. Marszłkowska, in a building owned by MDM estate.

Negotiations broken off for Goleniów station
POLAND The Goleniów administrative district has broken off talks with Graz-based architectural studio Riegler Riewe Architekten, the winners an architectural competition for the concept for a communication and cultural centre on the site of Goleniów railway station.

Delayed opening for Zgierz market halls
POLAND The opening of the second pavilion of the market halls in Zgierz has been scheduled for the second half of September, after being pushed back from the original deadline of August. The identities of the latest tenants secured for the halls have yet to be revealed, however.

Skanska to build national archive
POLAND The directorate of the Polish National Archive has contracted Skanska for the construction of its new main centre on ul. Mickiewicza in Białystok. The contract is worth PLN 20 mln.
Eurocash to come to Marynarska
POLAND Food wholesaler Eurocash Group is to lease four floors in one of the buildings in Marynarska Business Park, which is owned by Heitman. From June 2017 the company is to occupy a total of 4,618 sqm in the Warsaw complex.
