Metrostav wins biggest ever one-stage residential contract
CZECH REPUBLIC Central Group has chosen Metrostav to construct the Residence Garden Towers estate in what is claims is the largest tender for a residential project in the Czech history. The contract is worth more than CZK 2 bln (app. EUR 72 mln).

POLAND Matexi Polska has obtained a final building permit for the Kolska od Nowa project, which is to be located on a 2.6 ha plot on ul. Kolska in Warsaw’s Wola district.

Atal develops another residential estate
POLAND Atal is working on another residential estate in Warsaw, Nowe Bemowo. Located on ul. Narwik, the development will offer 90 apartments at PLN 5,800 per sqm with floor plans ranging from 28.6 sqm to 101.7 sqm.

Polish residential market flexes muscles
POLAND In Q2 2014, the residential developers in Poland have marketed a record number of apartments. Even though the sales remained strong, the number of the newly-offered units increased for the first time in two years, according to Reas. The record number marks the third strong consecutive quarterly growth.
Echo to develop luxury estate in Kraków
POLAND Echo Investment plans on developing a residential complex in Stare Dębniki near the Main Square (Rynek Główny) in Kraków. The construction work for the estate, comprised of 53 luxury apartments, is scheduled to start this autumn.

CZECH REPUBLIC Central Group has announced that since the beginning of the year it has bought land in Prague for the development of 1,900 homes for CZK 4.5 bln (app. EUR 164 mln) – a record for the company.
