Philips Lighting at Light + Building 2016 in Frankfurt
Philips Lighting, a Royal Philips company, showcased its connected lighting systems that are transforming homes, offices, shops and streets into smart spaces across the world at Light + Building 2016. The introduced new products, systems, services and partnerships that further integrate lighting into IoT, enabling its customers to create new experiences and unlock new value from apps and services. Philips Lightning has announced inter alia that it has signed a global partner agreement with Vodafone to develop a wireless integrated street lighting project for cities. The Philips CityTouch system has already been implemented in 530 locations in 33 countries, in cities including Szczecin. As well as being a municipal lighting system, the technology is designed to reduce costs.
