For the 100th issue of ‘Eurobuild Poland’, we asked some of the major names in Polish real estate about what they think of us so far, and where they want us to go next

Krzystof Giemza, director of the Retail Department, Echo Investment

‘Eurobuild’ is a real compendium of knowledge about the Polish real estate, investment and construction market, a monthly which presents information concerning the industry in a very interesting and accessible manner. I study its research articles and also reports, analyses and commentaries about various sections of the market with particular interest. The information delivered by ‘Eurobuild’ is professional and reliable.

It is the organiser and patron of numerous events, commercial fairs and specialist conferences constituting an excellent platform on which experiences can be exchanged – an exceptional aspect of the publication’s activities.

The form of the periodical has changed in recent years and is presently more modern and dynamic. The quality of what it publishes has visibly improved and today contains more detailed information on the market. I think ‘Eurobuild’ is moving in the right direction.

Bearing in mind that Echo Investment is expanding into Central and East European countries and the rising interest  of companies in information concerning those markets, I would like to see your monthly giving a concise review  of the most important developments in that region.

Ilona Gryszko-Redo, Leasing Department director, Plaza Centers

‘Eurobuild’ is a monthly with an indisputable position on the real estate market. Its openness to greater access to updated information through newsletters and the internet is worth emphasizing.

Down the years ‘Eurobuild’ has been responsible for several regular interesting events thereby becoming a market-integrating platform. What we find wanting, however, are comparisons of properties, rankings, expert analyses etc., treated with a pinch of humour, something which would make the periodical even more attractive.

Generally speaking, I must congratulate you for what you have achieved and wish you even better issues and more interesting events, in which you can count on our creative support.

Michael Atwell, partner, head of Capital Markets Group, Cushman & Wakefield

‘Eurobuild’ comes across as a professional publication which provides accurate and informative articles to its readers. The autonomy of the journalists has helped to establish and maintain a high profile of the magazine.

‘Eurobuild’ has grown together with the market. When I look at the first issues, the transformation is tremendous. I like the fact that from the very beginning the editorial, design and photos were of treated with importance.

I must admit that our employees always waited impatiently for the next issue of the magazine – an atmosphere of expectancy and novelty accompany ‘Eurobuild’.

In terms of improving the magazine, having my photo on the front page would be a good starting point... But seriously speaking, I would appreciate more articles – at least 1 per sector. I miss a column about the new people on the market. There are many transfers nowadays and it would be useful to be up to date. Also the comparison of the CEE market would be valuable. And one more issue – the new edition should appear at the very beginning of the month, not in the middle of the month.

Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, partner, Lovells

‘Eurobuild’, in my opinion, is a valuable source of information and analyses for anyone connected with the real estate industry. The publication skilfully attempts to reconcile the needs of various groups of investors, managers and consultants. My only remark is that more attention could be devoted to reviewing current, controversial subjects by asking several recognized experts about their opinions on the most topical issues of the moment and to learn what they think. That would, surely, be very valuable for the industry’s consultants and could result in the standardization of practical decisions and opinions, to the benefit of all operators on the market.

Michael de Jong-Douglas, senior vice president – Central & Eastern Europe, ProLogis

The rapid development of the real estate market calls for immediate responses to changes and for adaptation to the   ever-changing reality of this business. I think that the up-to-date information is what gives the ‘Eurobuild’ magazine advantage over its competition. Personally, I very much appreciate the reliability and diversity of the information published as well as the great detail of the real estate market analyses included. It is important to have a competent source of information on hand when operating in such a specific business. The real estate market plays by its own rules and also has its own demands and the Eurobuild magazine understands them perfectly and interprets them correctly. The 100th issue of ‘Eurobuild’ confirms the constant striving for the magazine’s further development. I look forward to the next issues with pleasure.

Nigel Wade, managing director, CB Richard Ellis Polska

As far as I am concerned, ‘Eurobuild’ is the most important specialist monthly on the Polish market. I am delighted it is published both in English and Polish. It is of excellent quality and boasts a fine graphic layout. Our workers and customers see ‘Eurobuild’ as a fundamental compendium of knowledge of the real estate market in Poland. I would also like to stress its excellent editor
