Work starts on ProLogis scheme
US based developer ProLogis announced last month that construction has
started on a new distribution centre located in Piotrków Trybunalski,
central Poland.
The 22,000 sqm ProLogis Park Piotrków has already signed supermarket
chain Ahold Polska. Goldbeck have been appointed general contractor.
ProLogis' Piotr Michalski told us that the Piotrków Park will be built
according to tenant's requirements. To date ProLogis have built
c.165,000 sqm of warehouse space across Poland; in Błonie (just outside
Warsaw) and Teresin (just outside Warsaw) and in Poznań, (west Poland).
Next phase of Pruszków underway
Developer Problem announced last month that it obtained all relevant
permits to start construction on the next phase of the Pruszków
Distribution Centre near Warsaw. Once completed the whole complex will
have a total area of 20,000 sqm.
PCD currently comprises four mixed-use warehouse and office buildings
totalling 35,000 sqm. The first building is fully leased to Mexem and
Sara Lee. Procan have taken half of the second warehouse, whilst the
third building was bought by Kuhne und Nagel. Construction of the fourth
phase is nearing completion. Probis is the general contractor.
The developer also completed the Przasnyska Office and Warehouse Centre
in Żoliborz, with 9,200 sqm of warehouse and 8,700 sqm of office space.
20,500 sqm of warehouse space leased
The warehousing department at Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker
reports
that it leased 20,500 sqm of warehouse space in and around Warsaw so far
this year. According to department head Tomasz Olszewski, this
illustrates increased demand in this market sector.
Procter & Gamble signed the biggest lease taking 11,500 sqm at the Ursus
Logistic Center. Document archiving company, Archive Management
Solutions, took 4,500 sqm in a facility in Reguły, publishing house Nowa
Era leased 2,000 sqm at the Ożarów Business Center, and food distributor
North Coast, leased 2,500 sqm at the Millennium Logistic Park.
New tenant at Platan Park
Retailer Royal Collection has taken 1,425 sqm of warehouse space and 357
sqm of office space in the Platan Park mixed-use office and warehouse
complex in Warsaw.
Platan Park, located at ul. Poleczki and developed by Platan Group,
comprises a total area of 50,000 sqm. Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard
Ellis are appointed agents on the complex. Platan Park was designed by
APA Wojciechowski and was built by Kubis Construction.
Sembodja Polska move to Targówek
Polish agents Maxon Nieruchomości report on going success at the Elemis Distribution and Warehouse Centre in the Warsaw Targówek district. The newest tenant is plastics distributor Sembodja Polska, who took 1,260 sqm of warehouse and office space.
