expands across CEE Ibis Politehnica Hotel in Bucharest is to open in the third quarter of 2020
EUROPE Orbis, the partner of AccorHotels in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, is continuing its expansion throughout the region. It has recently signed contracts for new hotels in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Poland, including a franchise agreement for the first MGallery by Sofitel hotel to open in Plovdiv.
The hotel, which is set to be the first luxury boutique hotel in the Bulgaria, is being developed by local businessman Boyko Kachulev. It will include 60 rooms and suites, a spa and wellness area as well as meeting facilities. Construction work is currently underway to convert an existing building that was formerly a well-known commercial centre in the city. The interior design will be by the S+S studio. “Bulgaria – just like the rest of the South Eastern Europe region – is a promising market for hoteliers as it offers totally new destinations for both business and leisure travellers. We’re proud to have been chosen by the local investor, who is bravely pursuing his ambition to introduce MGallery to Plovdiv.
