Two strong pillars

Yareal is celebrating its 20th anniversary on the Polish market this year. How would you sum all of this up? Were there any breakthrough moments? Jacek Zengteler, CEO, Yareal Polska: We haven’t gone through any spectacular upheavals – we’ve grown and continue to grow, step by step, in an evolutionary rather than a revolutionary manner. If I had to point to a breakthrough moment, it would certainly be our entry into the residential segment. We started our development activity in 2005 with office projects, but we delivered our first residential developments at the turn of 2011 and 2012. Today, this is one of our two business pillars. In the office market, our benchmark remains the Lixa complex, where we are now talking of, in total, as much as 77,000 sqm of leasable space.
