Avestus recently secured significant refinancing for the Infinity project in Wrocław. What does this mean for the company’s current operations and future growth?
Mariusz Frąckiewicz, country director, Avestus Real Estate Poland: This is a very important step that has brought the project back to a classic financial model. I should remind you that Infinity was developed during exceptionally challenging times – first, we faced the pandemic, and then the outbreak of war in Ukraine. As a result, the entire construction budget was financed by investor capital, which is not a typical situation in our sector. Now, thanks to refinancing from Deutsche Hypo – Nord/LB Real Estate Finance, we’ve restored the desired balance: a portion of the funds coming from investors and a portion from the bank. This strengthens our position and provides room for further activity.
