Looking at the figures, the recent development of the Polish self-storage market has been striking. Only a few years ago, just a few dozen facilities of this kind were in operation, whereas in 2025, there were already almost 200 self-storage facilities functioning nationwide [based on data from CBRE and FEDESSA (Federation of European Self Storage Associations) – editor’s note]. For comparison, there were app. 90 facilities in 2020, around 120 in 2022, and about 160 in 2024. The total available space currently amounts to app. 225,000 sqm, which means that within just five years the market has effectively doubled in size.
