Although Rondo 1 technically remains a premium-class building, the way that office space is now used – and what users expect from it – has been evolving rapidly.
A decade ago, the prestige of an office tower was defined by its height, the quality of its façade and its location. Today, employee experience matters just as much: comfort, atmosphere, informal meeting areas and, ultimately, the quality of the common space.
The Rondo1 refurbishment project includes the redesign of the lobby and the Winter Garden area. New finishing materials, updated lighting and illuminated ceiling elements will give the interiors a softer and more contemporary feel. The Winter Garden is set to become a multifunctional space for informal meetings, work and relaxation. The project has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) together with Trzop Architekci. Cushman & Wakefield remains the building manager, while DWS Group is the investor.
