EurobuildCEE’s editor-in-chief, Kazimierz Krupa, spoke to the main people at the Polish branch of law firm Clyde & Co about rebranding, the challenges of building an entirely new branch in the country, the role of new technology and AI in legal practice, and the future direction of the real estate sector
For over a year, Magdalena Szwarc-Brożyna, partner (centre), Paulina Dąbek, counsel, and Maciej Kulpiński, associate, have formed the core of the real estate practice at the Warsaw office of global law firm Clyde & Co, which launched operations in Poland at the beginning of 2024. The team combines strong transactional expertise – including the execution of major projects valued at well over several hundred million złoty, among them the widely covered recent sale of a 280,000 sqm logistics portfolio – with ongoing, comprehensive advisory services for real estate projects. The firm is also involved in strategic projects, the latest being legal support for Port Polska in preparing a long-term, multi-year development strategy.
