Hope on the horizon

With each passing year, Vienna's reputation grows as an important hub for the CEE region

A total of 6,463 participants from countries such as Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia and Ukraine turned up in Vienna to see where the real estate market is heading. The crisis might not be over yet, but the participants did agree on one thing - the mood music is significantly better than last year. ?According to a survey carried out by an external polling institution, 46.8 pct of the participants felt that they were very content with the current economic health of their sector, while seven ?out of ten of those interviewed (71 pct) were of the opinion that the development scene in the next twelve months will definitely improve. Over the two days of the event, participants had the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics, such as "The return to Eastern Europe: making the right use of the boom" and "Infrastructure developments in the Danube region", as well as find out about the latest trends in sustainable development, which is taking on more importance in the CEE region.
