Zdrojowa Invest teams up with Carlson Rezidor

POLAND Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has decided to open a five-star Radisson Blu Resort in Świnoujście as part of the Baltic Park Molo complex, developed by Zdrojowa Invest. This will be the first Radisson Blu Resort-branded hotel in Poland.
The hotel, which is set to take a LEED-certified building, is scheduled to open in Q4 2016. “We are currently choosing the general contractor for the hotel part, and aim to start the construction work in the autumn. When it comes to the residential part of the project, planned to open in the summer of next year, it has reached the shell stage. So far, we have sold 59 apartments out of the 61 offered,” said Jan Wróblewski, the board member of Zdrojowa Hotels Central Pomerania. Once completed

Poland AI and cloud demand drives growth in European data centre market

Demand for computing power is rising rapidly, driven by artificial intelligence and cloud services. This is accelerating growth in Europe’s data centre market. The sector’s total capacity could reach 13 GW by the end of 2026, up 20 pct year on year, according to CBRE’s 'Europe Data Centres Q2 2026' report. Rising demand is also changing where data centres are being built. Investors are increasingly looking beyond the largest hubs, creating new opportunities for Poland, where data centre capacity could grow from around 200 MW today to 500 MW by 2030.

Hotel transactions boom

The Czech hotel market is building on an exceptionally strong year in 2025, marked by a significant increase in transaction volumes and investor interest. According to Cushman & Wakefield, a total of 16 hotels were sold in the Czech Republic, representing 2,989 rooms and a total transaction volume of EUR 764 mln. Based on available data, this represents the highest annual transaction volume ever recorded on the Czech hotel market.
