Mercure debuts in Bucharest

ROMANIA French hotel operator Accor is opening its first Romanian Mercure-branded hotel in Bucharest. Located in the city center, the four-star hotel will have 114 rooms, including 27 suites.

The guests will also be able to make use of the hotel meeting rooms and 30 underground car park spaces. Owned by a Romanian investor, Dentotal Investment, the project was financed by Garanti Bank. The hotel’s modern design and main facade are set to embrace the heritage of two nearby city landmarks, Romanian Athenaeum and George Enescu Museum. The hotel’s architect is Arhi Grup.
