POLAND Suntago holiday village opens its doors

Hotels
The first guests have checked into Suntago Village, a complex of 92 holiday bungalows that forms part of the Park of Poland leisure complex near Mszczonów, about 50 km southwest of Warsaw.

The construction work on Suntago Village began in spring 2019 and it is now capable of accommodating 360 guests.

Each 37 sqm bungalow has a bedroom with two single beds or one double bed and a living room with a double sofa bed. Work is still underway on the outdoor zone, which will have a children’s playground, a barbecue area, volleyball and badminton courts and a boules area. Hotel Professionals Management Group is responsible for managing Suntago Village.

An free electric shuttle bus service has been provided for transport to and from another part of the Park of Poland – the nearby Suntago Wodny Świat (Suntago Water World), the largest indoor water park in Europe, which opened at the end of February.

Construction work on the EUR 170 mln investment began in May 2017. A four-star hotel with 240 rooms is also planned next to the water park.

Global City Holdings is the investor behind Park of Poland along with Unternehmensgruppe Wund, which has been developing aqua parks in Germany since 1998.
