CZECH REPUBLIC Savills chosen for AM of DRN

Property and Facility Management
KGAL Investment Management Group has appointed Savills to be the asset manager for the DRN building in Prague 1.

DRN was completed in 2017 according to a design by Stanislav Fiala. KGAL acquired the building on Národní, which contains 9,800 sqm of offices and 1,750 sqm of retail space, in August 2019. The company expects to receive BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification for the property. It is now almost fully leased and will house the first WeWork centre in the Czech Republic.

The DRN complex is a unique gem of commercial real estate. It combines first-class workspace with superb architecture that blends the traditional with the modern.
André Zücker, the managing director for Real Estate at KGAL Investment Management

As well as asset management services, Savills will also be responsible for the property’s budgeting, investment planning, reporting, property accounting, marketing, tenant engagement and sustainability.

There are a handful of modern iconic commercial buildings in Prague in terms of design and use, and DRN is definitely on that list. It is fantastic to have been appointed to provide active asset management services at DRN and to support our client, KGAL, to develop the strategy for the asset, create a framework for decision making and unlock its value and further potential.
Michaela Semanová, the director of property management at Savills CZ&SK
