Germany Strabag to help build Fehmarn tunnel

Strabag has been appointed by DB InfraGO AG to construct several sections of the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, connecting the island of Fehmarn with the German mainland via a 2.2 km tunnel. The tunnel is to replace the existing Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Road traffic will run on four lanes through two tunnel tubes, while a rail line will be routed on two tracks in separate tubes.

Futureal Investment Partners has leased an entire building in the Lipowy Park complex to the Police. The new Police Headquarters will have an area of around 10,000 sqm with the transaction being the largest relocation in the Warsaw office market in 2025.

Hungary Reception of CityZen remodelled

The first stage of the refurbishment of the CityZen office building in Budapest has been completed. All three reception areas have been fully redesigned. Additionally, data centre services provider Etalon-Informatika has signed a lease for 700 sqm and will move in in 2026.

Germany DP World comes to Wörth

Logistics operator DP World has signed a lease for 5,000 sqm of space in Garbe Industrial's centre in Wörth an der Isar in Bavaria. DP World will use the space to handle contract logistics for a customer from the automotive sector.

Poland Stokado builds in Warsaw and Wrocław

Self-storage operator Stokado has begun construction work on two new centres: one in Wrocław and the other in Warsaw. These are the company's fourth and fifth development projects since its acquisition by Redefine Properties and Griffin Capital Partners in 2023.

Invesco Real Estate has purchased a 52,000 sqm logistics centre from LemonTree in Mysłowice near Katowice. The centre is fully leased for 15 years to a division of Martes Sport Group, a leading sports retailer with more than 370 stores across Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania.

Poland Investment poised to boom

Commercial real estate investment volumes in Poland have totalled EUR 2.6 bln so far in 2025. Although many investors remain on the sidelines, the market is showing clear signs of stabilisation, heralding a rebound later in the year. According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland’s report' Review: Investment Market in Poland, Q3 2025', total transaction volume is expected to surpass EUR 4 bln by the end of 2025.

Poland Scallier to commercialise Świętochłowice retail park

Scallier has signed a contract to commercialise a retail park to be built at the junction of ul. Śląska and ul. Księdza Ludwika Tunkla in Świętochłowice near Katowice. The new 7,000 sqm centre under development by Kenpol Holding is to open in the autumn of 2027.

Poland Work begins on Wrocław Campus 2

Panattoni has begun construction within its Wrocław Campus 2 logistics development, its flagship project in Krzyżowice just outside the city is to expand by 102,000 sqm.

Romania LPP opens fulfilment centre in Bucharest

LPP Logistics has opened an automated e-commerce fulfilment centre of 65,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West in Bolintin-Deal just outside the city.
