SERBIA Hyperoptic chooses Bigz

Hyperoptic has been providing fibre-optic internet connections (with a speed of 21 times the average) in Serbia for eleven years. The lease was brokered by Coreside Savills.

The modernist Bigz building on Belgrade’s Sava embankment was Serbia’s first extensively reinforced concrete building when it came into use in 1941. It eventually became the home of the state press house Jugoštampa.

In early 2021, it was acquired by Marera Real Estate Partners, which has since been refurbishing the listed monument. The first tenants of the 40,000 sqm office building are to move in next year.
