POLAND Savills acquires Knight Frank's PM business

Property and Facility Management
Savills has acquired Knight Frank’s commercial property and asset management team in Poland. Under the agreement, 35 employees have joined Savills while its Polish PM portfolio has surpassed 1.2 mln sqm.

The portfolio to be managed by Savills mostly comprises office buildings in Warsaw and other major cities across Poland. These include West Station I and II (115,900 sqm) and Miasteczko Orange (77,100 sqm) in Warsaw, as well as Maraton A and B (39,300 sqm) in Poznań, Green Towers A and B (36,600 sqm) in Wrocław, Arkońska Business Park (30,800 sq m) in Gdańsk as well as Kapelanka (22,000 s m), Jacobs CH2M Center (18,000 sqm) and MK29 (11,000 sqm) in Kraków.

The expanded property management team will be led by Michał Bryszewski, who was appointed head of property and asset management at Savills Poland in June 2021. In her new role as head of office property management, Izabela Miazgowska, who has been employed by Knight Frank for the last ten years, will work with Wioletta Nowotnik, an associate director in the property management team. In addition, Marta Mikołajczyk-Pyrć will continue as head of retail and mixed-use property management, while Przemysław Piórek will be in charge of industrial property management. Knight Frank’s four-strong team of engineers led by Urszula Łuszpińska will also join Savills to work on projects for the firm’s property and asset management clients and the building and project consultancy team led by Jakub Jędrys.

Polish industrial developer MLP Group has raised PLN 183.5 mln in a public offering of 2,621,343 series F shares by way of a private placement on the Warsaw Stock Exchange directed exclusively to qualified investors and investors subscribing for shares worth no less than the equivalent of EUR 100,000. Based on an accelerated bookbuild process, the issue price of the shares was set at PLN 70.

A prominent German vehicle manufacturer will move into a property with a total area of around 18,500 sqm owned by Garbe in the 'Niedersachsenpark' in Lower Saxony. Garbe acquired the building together with two other halls a year ago as part of an asset deal from Engler Immobilien Gruppe. The vehicle car manufacturer wants to store components for the automotive process chain in the new property.
