Hungary Puro has financing for an investment in Budapest

BGK is thus supporting the development of the Polish hotel brand from the Puro group. Polish entities will also be involved in the construction of the hotel.

The Puro hotel in Budapest will be the first foreign establishment of the chain. So far, the hotels have only been located in Poland, in the centres of seven major cities, including Warsaw, Gdańsk, Kraków and Wrocław.

The new facility will be built in the very centre of the Hungarian capital, in an area of historical significance, at 23 Paulay Ede St. The hotel will be located in the immediate vicinity of, among others, St. Stephen's Basilica, the Hungarian State Opera House and the famous Andrassy Avenue.

The project will feature a seven-storey building offering 212 rooms and numerous guest amenities, including a restaurant, bar, bakery, gym, meeting rooms and underground parking. Puro also plans to open a rooftop bar with views of the city skyline.

Construction work is already underway and the opening is planned for mid-2026.

BGK's financing programme proved to be the best formula for our project. The construction of the hotel is being carried out under the Construction Management formula (without a general contractor) and is proceeding according to plan. We are currently completing the underground parts of the building structure. We plan to open the hotel in May 2026.
