Tinkoff to take calls in Mirland Business Center
RUSSIA Credit card bank Tinkoff Credit Systems is to move all of its call centres into one office and has signed a lease of 7,300 sqm in MirLand Business Center on ulitsa 2 Khutorskaya in Moscow.
European Commission suspends road payments
POLAND The European Commission has temporarily suspended payments of EU road subsidies for projects commissioned by the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).
Alfa changes in Gdańsk
POLAND A number of new stores are to sign leases in Alfa Centrum in Gdańsk. The new brands are Sinsay, Gerry Weber, Ecco, 4F, Lavard and Subway, which will together occupy an area of around 700 sqm.
Abra focuses on franchising
POLAND Furniture store chain Abra is to open around 10 to 12 new franchise outlets in 2013. By the end of 2013 the chain could number 90 units.
Metro Properties to manage Tulipan and Kometa
POLAND Metro Properties has taken over the management of the Tulipan shopping centre in Łódź and the Kometa centre in Toruń, both of which belong to the portfolio of the POERF fund managed by Pradera Europe.
Instal Kraków starts building in Kraków
POLAND Instal Kraków has chosen Krakbau to construct an apartment building on ul. Przewóz in Kraków in a contract worth almost PLN 16 mln net. Eventually 106 apartments are planned, with spaces for 57 vehicles in an underground car park.
Little new warehouse space and no vacancies
RUSSIA New completions of warehouse space in Q4 in the Moscow region reached 124,000 sqm – a 40 pct y-o-y decrease on the previous year, while vacancy rates have subsequently fallen to 0.65 pct, according to Jones Lang LaSalle.
O1 to sell Olimpia?
RUSSIA O1 Properties is considering the sale of the Olimpia Park office complex to its largest tenant, IT company Kaspersky Labs, according to ‘Vedomosti’.
City Center Sofia changes cinemas
BULGARIA The City Center Sofia shopping centre is to change its cinema operator. In June Cine Grand will reopen the recently refurbished 3,800 sqm multiplex, which will have six screens and 1,200 seats.
Mega Image opens in Bucharest
ROMANIA Mega Image, which is owned by the Delhaize group, has today (January 31st) opened its largest grocery store in Romania, in Bucharest, with 1,600 sqm of retail space.
Quiet quarter for Bratislava offices
SLOVAKIA No new office buildings were completed in Bratislava in Q4 2012, but there was nevertheless a slight increase in vacancy, according to the Bratislava Research Forum.

Launch of Angel Wawel
POLAND Angel Wawel, part of the Angel Poland Group, is soon to launch the construction stage of its Angel Wawel residential project in Kraków, which is to include 235 apartments as well as some retail space on the ground floor of the building.
FairPlay turns loss to profit
BULGARIA FairPlay Properties made an unconsolidated profit in 2012 of BGN 1.68 mln (app. EUR 859,000.) after making a loss in 2011 of BGN 2.02 mln.
H&M sees strong sales and expands in Eastern Europe
WORLD Fashion retailer H&M Group has announced its results for 2012. The group saw sales increase by 10 pct to around SEK 120.8 bln (app. EUR 14 bln), while gross profit came in at SEK 71.8 bln corresponding to a gross margin of 59.5 pct.

POLAND Electrical engineering company Schneider Electric Polska has leased 7,000 sqm in Park Rozwoju, which is currently being developed by Echo Investment on ul. Konstruktorska in Warsaw.
