Romania Half a million sqm to be delivered in 2024

According to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, the modern stock of industrial and logistics space now exceeds 7 mln sqm across Romania. Projects with a total area of around 452,000 sqm were delivered in 2023 – a 46 pct decrease on the previous year, due to reduced speculative development activity.

Poland 3.4k leased in Jerozolimskie Business Park

Apollo-Rida Poland, the owner and manager of Jerozolimskie Business Park, signed leases with six new tenants in the last quarter of 2023. The companies who chose the property are SGS Polska, Veolia Water Technologies, HelpHero, Oregon Polska, Vinci Construction Grands Project and Eurex Expertise.

The Lixa E building, constructed as part of the office complex near Warsaw’s Daszyński Roundabout, has been granted a use permit. The project developed by Yareal Polska has provided the Warsaw market with almost 18,000 sqm of office space.

Gdynia City Logistics, a city warehouse and office park on ul. Północna in Gdynia, has secured its first tenant – Cosentino, a global manufacturer of surfaces for the world of architecture and design, which has signed a lease agreement for app. 3,000 sqm.

Palmira has acquired a property in Krągola, situated between Poznań and Łódź, for the European Core Logistics Fund. Built in 2014 and occupied by Eurocash, the property comprises almost 40,000 sqm of hall and office space.

Europe Elektrownia Powiśle shortlisted for the MIPIM Awards!

The Elektrownia Powiśle mixed-use complex in Warsaw is the only development in the CEE region to have made it through to the finals of this year's MIPIM Awards. The complex, which has been nominated in the "Best Urban Regeneration Project" category, was designed by the APA Wojciechowski studio and developed by White Star Real Estate. The winners of all the categories are to be announced on March 14th during the awards ceremony at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

The Warsaw Spire C building at Plac Europejski is the new location for the coworking space of The Shire - Beyond Coworking, a network of serviced offices belonging to the portfolio of Polish holding company Devonshire Investment Group. It is scheduled to open in April 2024.

Dutch investment fund Van der Vorm has bought around 120 apartments from a Polish developer in Warsaw's Praga Południe district. The completed flats on ul.  Siennicka are intended for long-term rental.

Poland First wooden office building in the capital

The office building in Poleczki Park, designed by the Ambient studio, has been granted a building permit. It will be the first facility of its kind in Warsaw to be constructed using wooden technology. The investor is UBM Development Polska.

Vastint Poland has renegotiated its lease agreements within the Business Garden complex in Warsaw. Companies such as Credit Agricole, European Leasing Fund, Amundi, Schenker, Continental, Pretius, Expeditors, Eli Lilly, Upfield and STM will remain tenants of the complex.

Only 60,900 sqm of office space was completed in the Polish capital in 2023. It's the lowest total in the history of the Warsaw office market. Savills also notes that development activity picked up in the H2 of last year, in response to a prolonged period of undersupply.

Merity Funds, a sister company of Trigea Real Estate Fund specialized in development projects, has bought a real estate property located in Gliwice. The development will consist of two buildings with a total GLA of approx. 60,000 sqm on about 12 hectares of land.
