Kopernik Office Builldings now green
POLAND Warsaw’s Kopernik Office Buildings complex has received a BREEAM In-Use certificate with ‘Very Good’ ratings in both the asset performance and building management categories.

EUROPE An innovative infrared controlled model with a thermostat and an optional module has been added to the Schell Vitus range of taps, enabling the fittings to be included in central building management systems.

PKO BP to finance Sagittarius
POLAND Echo Investment has received a EUR 38 mln loan (including EUR 6 mln to pay VAT) from PKO BP for the construction of the Sagittarius Business House office project in Wrocław.

POLAND Bielany Business Point in Bielany Wrocławskie has acquired a BREEAM in-Use certificate. The project, which has been developed by Megapolis (a subsidiary of the Holding 1 group), is app. 50 pct leased.

Swarovski in loco in Yoko
POLAND The Yoko office building in the Garnizon complex in Gdańsk has been officially opened. The investor behind the project is Grupa Inwestycyjna Hossa, while the exclusive tenant of the building is Swarovski Global Business Services. Swarovski was advised by CBRE in the process of choosing the location for its global service centre.

Vermelo takes shape in Kraków
POLAND Finishing work has now started on the first stage of the Vermelo residential project, which Mota-Engil Real Estate Management is building in central Kraków. Work has also started on the second building.

Olsztyn West reborn
POLAND The Olsztyn Zachodni [West] station has reopened after extensive renovations. Thanks to the project by the Polish State Railways [PKP S.A.], the station is now fully-adapted for the disabled.

Redan keeping its head above water
POLAND/UKRAINE Clothing retail group Redan has reported turnover of PLN 54 mln for May – 2 pct lower than a year ago. However, the figures for its TXM discount segment still reflect issues with the adequate stocking of these stores, although this situation has seen some improvement.
