Architects walk away from Tallinn city hall
ESTONIA The city of Tallinn has cancelled its contract with architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group, which had been commissioned to design a new 28,000 sqm city hall.
New urban plan for Bucharest

POLAND SARP (The Union of Polish Architects) has awarded its prize for the best architectural structure in Poland built in 2011 to the GeoEducation Centre, constructed by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex.
KWK Promes earns another nomination
POLAND A new design of the KWK Promes architectural studio, which is called Autofamily House, has been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – the Mies van der Rohe Award 2013.
Modřanský Háj wins architects award
CZECH REPUBLIC The Modřanský Háj residential development in Prague 4’s Cholupice district has won the architects award at the Czech Real Estate Awards 2012 organised by the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
Wilo to build Polish HQ
POLAND PM Group has been commissioned by Wilo, one of the largest manufacturers of pumps and pumping systems, to design and develop the company’s Polish HQ.
Vantage chooses Maćków studio
POLAND The competition for the design of Promenady Zita, the second office building in the Promenady Wrocławskie project, which is being developed by Vantage Development, has been won by a team led by Zbigniew Maćków of the Wrocław-based Maćków Pracownia Projektowa architectural studio, which defeated six other entrants.
Finishing touches at the construction of Museum of the History of the Polish Jews
POLAND The opening of the Museum of the History of the Polish Jews is planned for April 19th, 2013. The main exhibition of the museum will be available for viewing only at the end of the next year.
