Czech Republic Retail parks growing rapidly across Czech Republic

Retail parks in the Czech Republic are rapidly expanding and already account for almost a third of all modern retail space. In 2025, 82,400 sqm of new and expanded retail parks were delivered to the market, and the pace of their expansion is accelerating. Overall, developers plan to deliver 19 retail parks to the market this year, with a total area of nearly 90,000 sqm. This follows from data by Cushman & Wakefield.

Poland 7R lays cornerstone in Nowa Huta

7R has laid the cornerstone for a state-of-the-art logistics and technology hub in Kraków. 7R Hub Nowa Huta is set to deliver around 230,000 sqm of modern industrial space. Even before construction work began on ul. Igołomska in Kraków, 7R had secured lease agreements for much of the commercial space in the project.

Panattoni has completed the sale of an automated e-grocery distribution centre leased to Auchan in the Warsaw region. The buyer is French investment fund Corum XL, managed by Corum Asset Management. The property was sold for EUR 30.2 mln.

Poland Uni-logistics moves into President's Quay

Uni-logistics has leased the entire 8th floor of President's Quay in Gdynia. Uni-logistics will occupy 1,115 sqm in the first phase of the Waterfront mixed-use development, owned and managed by Vastint. Colliers advised the tenant on the transaction.

The Atal Group has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire shares in companies from the Budner Group for PLN 133.5 mln. This includes companies that hold real estate. Through this deal, Atal will be able to develop new projects in the Tri-City area, with a usable area of around 70,000 sqm.

According to the latest ‘Office Market in Warsaw. Q1 2026’ report by Axi Immo, the Warsaw office market recorded a decline in occupier activity in the first quarter of 2026, while the availability of office space in central locations remained limited, putting upward pressure on rents.
