B&B Hotels to be sold

The commission has concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, in particular because the parties are not active in the same markets. B&B Hotels serves both business and leisure travelers. It has app. 340 hotels in Europe, including 234 in France, 75 in Germany, 22 in Italy, four in Spain, three in Poland as well as one in Czech Republic and one in Morocco.
