This new Warsaw office of BNP Paribas Securities Services was created on the ninth floor of the Wronia 31 building and has been designed around activity based work. The kitchen area has been designed with a comic book style while another area is dominated by greenery and wood.

“New technology is a part of our company's DNA. With ‘agile’ space we can stimulate our employees to continuously work on their own development,” says Andy Crighton, the director of the operations centre at BNP Paribas Securities Services.

Poland’s industrial and logistics market entered the second half of 2026 with demand rising and available space continuing to shrink. According to Cushman & Wakefield’s latest MarketBeat report, the vacancy rate fell to 6.6 pct in the second quarter, its lowest level since 2023. Tenants remained active in signing new leases during the first half of the year, while developers continued to take a cautious approach. The value of investment transactions in the logistics sector was also 13 pct higher than a year earlier.

Retail accounted for 36 pct of total commercial real estate investment in both Poland and Italy in Q2 2026, the highest share among the eight European markets reviewed in the latest Focus Estate Fund ‘Quarterly Litmus Paper’. The report points to sustained investor demand for retail parks and food-anchored assets, supported by low vacancy, resilient consumer spending and a constrained supply of high-quality space.

Poland’s industrial and logistics investment market recorded EUR 782 mln in transactions in the first half of the year, across 18 deals. This was 36 pct above the five-year average and the sector’s third-highest first-half investment volume on record, after 2020 and 2021. The strong showing was driven by more than a return of large deals, however. Investors are increasingly prioritising long-term, predictable income, while sale-and-leaseback transactions are becoming an increasingly important way of bringing assets to market.

Romania’s consumer spending continued to support the expansion of the retail sector in 2025 despite persistent inflationary pressures. The 125 major retailers analysed generated more than EUR 42 bln in sales during the year, representing a 5.6 pct increase compared with 2024 and a 77 pct increase compared with 2019, according to the 'Romania Retail Snapshot 2026', published by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
