The Elektrownia Powiśle mixed-use complex in Warsaw is the only development in the CEE region to have made it through to the finals of this year's MIPIM Awards. The complex, which has been nominated in the "Best Urban Regeneration Project" category, was designed by the APA Wojciechowski studio and developed by White Star Real Estate. The winners of all the categories are to be announced on March 14th during the awards ceremony at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
The finalists represent 20 countries, with France having the most shortlisted projects – a total of seven. United States is next with five projects, followed by Germany, Belgium and Denmark with three each, and Australia, Egypt, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom with two projects each.
The winners will be decided by the votes of both the jury and MIPIM's registered delegates, which will be cast online and at the event. In addition to the category winners, a ‘Special Jur
