Bilfinger sells off its construction division
GERMANY German real estate, engineering and construction expert Bilfinger is selling “a significant portion” of its civil engineering business, the construction division, to the Swiss construction and construction services company Implenia as the German giant aims to focus on servicing industrial facilities.

POLAND Plastic component manufacturer Igus has leased 800 sqm of office space and 1,000 of industrial space in Ideal Idea Park III in Warsaw’s Włochy district. The new tenant will move into the park in April 2015.

315,000 sqm mall to be built in Moscow
RUSSIA Green Mall, an over 315,000 sqm shopping centre with 129,000 sqm gla, is to be developed in central-western Moscow. The investment is estimated at USD 460 mln in total.

Invesco Real Estate buys Plac Unii for EUR 226 mln
POLAND Liebrecht & Wood Group and BBI Development SA have signed a final agreement on the sale of Plac Unii, a mix-use complex in Warsaw, to the real estate investment manager Invesco Real Estate (IRE). The transaction was estimated at EUR 226 mln.

POLAND US-based real estate investment trust (REIT) W. P. Carey has bought a newly-constructed, app. 32,600 sqm light-industrial and distribution center in Poland’s Opole for USD 29.5 mln (EUR 23.8 mln).

CZECH REPUBLIC/SLOVAKIA Vienna-listed Conwert Immobilien Invest has sold its entire Czech property portfolio of 46,249 sqm to a Czech company, as well as two properties in Žilina and an undeveloped plot in Bratislava to a Slovakian investor in a share deal.

Griffin plans on developing massive Łódź complex
POLAND A 7.7-ha plot situated between ul. Milionowa and ul. Tymienieckiego in Łódź has been purchased in an auction by Griffin Group. Now the new owner plans on constructing a 100,000 sqm mixed-use complex on the parcel previously owned by Opal Property Developments.
