Standard Life Investments sells off Brno warehouse
CZECH REPUBLIC Standard Life Investments’ European Property Growth Fund has sold a 13,000 sqm retail warehouse in Brno to its tenant, Sconto Immobilien.

Cedet’s financing sorted
POLAND Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) has granted the Cedet redevelopment project with a EUR 56.5 mln loan as part of the Polish Investments programme it supports. The Cedet project redevelops and extends the historical CDT building in Warsaw, which used to house the iconic Smyk children’s department store.

C-Mec sells off 10,000 sqm industrial building
CZECH REPUBLIC Belgian-Czech industrial equipment manufacturer C-Mec Holding has sold a 10,000 sqm office and warehousing building in Kladno to a private Czech investor through a sell-and- leaseback transaction.

Skanska to renovate Łódź skyscraper
POLAND Skanska has signed a PLN 10.8 mln contract for the modernization of a Łódź skyscraper that formerly housed the state-run Centrala Handlu Zagranicznego (the Foreign Trade Office). Located at ul. Romualda Traugutta 25, the building opened in 1972.

Unibep to build Wilanów residential estate
POLAND Polish construction company Unibep has signed a PLN 67.3 mln contract to become the general contractor of Qualia's Apartament Royal Park residential estate in Warsaw’s Wilanów district.

PKP selects contractor for Gliwice station uplift
POLAND Polish State Railway (PKP) has announced the winner of the tender for redeveloping the railways station in Gliwice. Five offers were submitted in the tender procedure. A consortium of Aldesa Construcciones Polska and Aldesa Construcciones will modernize the station for PLN 136.8 mln.

POLAND A consortium led by Mirbud has signed a PLN 359 mln contract with the Bydgoszcz office of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) to construct the Inowrocław ring road along the 15 and 25 national roads.
Kalter wins contract in Warsaw’s Białołęka
POLAND Kalter is to build a 80-appartment building and a garage for a Warsaw housing association, RSM Praga. The new building will be developed at the junction of ul. Myśliborska and ul. Kamińskiego in Warsaw’s Białołęka district.

POLAND The Erbud group will start 2015 with construction orders worth over PLN 1.4 bln, with the residential, commercial and industrial projects jointly accounting for 80 pct of the portfolio.

ROMANIA City Gate South Tower, a 18-storey building that makes up the two-tower, 44,000 sqm City Gate office project in Bucharest, has earned LEED certification with ‘Silver’ rating. The project’s second tower, City Gate North Tower, obtained LEED certification with ‘Gold’ rating last year.
