Polish land in demand
POLAND Transactions on the residential land market will be dominant in 2015. They also dominated last year and turned out to be so attractive that investors from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, the Republic of South Africa and China have been coming to Poland to survey what is on offer –these are some of the conclusions of Daniel Puchalski, the director of the investment land service department at JLL, while recently discussing the consultancy’s ‘Investment Land Market in Poland’ report.

POLAND German-based logistics provider Fiege Group has renewed and extended its lease in the P3 Mszczonów logistics centre. The company will now be occupying a total of 46,000 sqm of space within the park.

WORLD Spanish retail giant Inditex continues to roll out a RFID-supported inventory monitoring tool across its Zara stores worldwide. By 2016, the fashion retailer aims to deploy the solution in all Zara stores (1,985 outlets as of October 31st, 2014) and implement it across the rest of its brands thereafter.

Bratislava office stock hits 1.54 mln sqm
SLOVAKIA By the end of the Q4 2014, the total class ‘A’ and ‘B’ office stock in Bratislava amounted to more than 1.54 mln sqm. Almost 60 pct of the space was represented by class ‘A’ office space and more than 40 pct by class ‘B’ space, according to the Bratislava Research Forum.
Russia and Hungary among IKEA’s fastest growing markets
CEE REGION In its last financial year, the Swedish furniture retailer and shopping centre developer IKEA Group has seen a 5.9 pct increase in sales, while registering 270 mln visits to its 14 Russian shopping centres and over 700 mln visits to its 315 IKEA stores worldwide.
