TEDi, with over 3,700 stores in 15 European countries, is opening its 300th store in Poland in Chrzanów. The chain currently has over 3,700 stores across 15 European countries, and first entered Poland with the opening of a store in Dąbrowa Górnicza in 2018.

Europe's largest indoor NATO drone test facility has officially opened at Panattoni Park Swindon. The official opening results from the lease of almost 50,000 sqm by the UK's Ministry of Defence.

CTPark Bucharest in Dragomirești Vale is to be expanded by an additional 10,300 sqm for FM Logistic, which currently occupies 23,800 sqm in the park. Upon completion of the work in Q3 2026, FM Logistic will operate from around 116,000 sqm across all of CTP’s industrial parks in Romania.

Warsaw-based private equity investment manager Griffin Capital Partners and Berlin-based hospitality operator Primestar Group have launched Prime Griffin Hotels, a 50/50 JV to build a Polish hotel platform.

Yareal Polska continues to expand the retail tenant mix for its flagship, mixed-use complex in Warsaw's Praga Południe district. SOHO by Yareal now includes a Maxi Zoo pet store, the Alike Pottery Studio, and the Unroasted coffee store. Under the new agreements, Yareal has leased nearly 500 sqm on the ground floors of the buildings.

Budimex has been awarded a PLN 146 mln contract to construct the foundations of the passenger terminal of the new airport that forms part of the massive Port of Poland (or CPK) transport hub, which is being developed between Warsaw and Łódź.

Echo Investment has signed a loan agreement with Bank Pekao to finance its Wita mixed-use complex, which is being developed on a 3 ha site in central Kraków. The financing includes a five-year construction and investment loan and a VAT loan totalling EUR 36.4 mln.

Panattoni, together with Eika Asset Management, an investment management company, have begun the development of Panattoni Park Kraków West IV. The centre, comprising over 46,000 sqm, will be built in Skawina, within the Kraków metropolitan area. The first tenant, a retailer of wooden panelling, will occupy nearly 17,000 sqm.

MLP Group has started construction work on MLP Rzeszów, a new logistics park in southeastern Poland. The project is being developed on a speculative basis.

More than 70 representatives of the Polish logistics real estate market participated in the third edition of EQT on the Move: Ride the Lakes. The event brought together tenants, warehouse developers, real estate advisors, business partners, along with their families, in an informal setting designed to strengthen industry relationships. Participants cycled selected sections of the Masurian Cycling Loop between 12 and 14 June. Eurobuild was the media patron for the event.

While demand for high-quality office space remains stable, record-low new construction has led to an unprecedentedly low supply across the CEE region’s six largest office markets: Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Bucharest, Bratislava and Sofia. This is creating upward pressure on rents for modern and sustainable buildings while also increasing the need to modernise older office stock, according to the latest ‘CEE Offices 2026 Report’, published by Colliers.

Warsaw ranks as the fourth least affordable capital for a single person, with essential monthly expenses, including housing, food, transport, personal care and leisure, totalling EUR 1,836. With the average net salary standing at EUR 1,911, these costs absorb 96.1 pct of typical earnings, leaving residents with just EUR 74 per month. Only Lisbon, Tirana, and Athens offer worse affordability among the 37 capital cities surveyed by Tradingpedia.
