POLAND Echo Investment has received a building permit for its first office building in the Browary Warszawskie mixed-use project in Warsaw’s Wola district.

POLAND Chmielowskie, which is part of the Alta Group, has applied for an enlargment to the local zoning plan for the entire site of the Siewierz Jeziorna new town development in northern Silesia. The current spatial development plan covers app. 63 ha, just over half of the area of the project.

HUNGARY The Industrial division of Colliers International has sold the Scanfil building in Rozália Park to the Reál grocery store chain.

POLAND Galeria Gryf in Szczecin, which is owned and managed by Carrefour Polska, is to be extensively remodelled this year. A separate food court is to be created, which should be ready in September.

POLAND The PLN 89 mln renovation and extension of the five-star Holiday Inn Kraków City Center hotel, which is located on ul. Wielopole close to Kraków’s Old Town, has now been completed.
POLAND J.W. Construction Holding (JWCH) has announced the signing of a preliminary purchase agreement for a site at ul. Starowiejska 67 in Gdańsk.
POLAND P.A. Nova is planning to build a warehouse in Wilkowice (Silesia), having already secured a tenant for the hall.

LITHUANIA Construction firm Mitnija has won a contract worth EUR 30 mln to build an office building for communication company Telia in Vilnius.
POLAND Since entering the Polish market in 2005 Goodman has completed over 1 mln sqm of logistics space.

HUNGARY Siemens Power and Gas has laid the foundation stone for a 10,000 sqm production hall in Budapest, where turbine blades are to be manufactured.
BELARUS The Hyatt Regency hotel in the centre of Minsk, the construction of which has not been completed has been put up for auction for a third time.

POLAND The latest stage of the Pasaż Stara Przędzalnia shopping arcade in the centre of Żyrardów is now ready for tenants. Retail Concept is responsible for the leasing of the 2,000 sqm of space, which is now the subject of negotiations.
POLAND Jewellery store Tous has leased 70 sqm in Galeria Młociny. The Spanish family-run company has been operating since 1920 and offers luxury jewellery, handbags, sunglasses and perfumes. It has over 500 stores on five continents, including 35 stores in Poland.
RUSSIA Karl Schmidt Spedition has bought 35,600 sqm of warehouse space in the Vorsino Industrial Park in the Kaluga region southwest of Moscow.

POLAND Warsaw’s Kopernik Office Buildings complex has received a BREEAM In-Use certificate with ‘Very Good’ ratings in both the asset performance and building management categories.
EUROPE An innovative infrared controlled model with a thermostat and an optional module has been added to the Schell Vitus range of taps, enabling the fittings to be included in central building management systems.

POLAND Echo Investment has received a EUR 38 mln loan (including EUR 6 mln to pay VAT) from PKO BP for the construction of the Sagittarius Business House office project in Wrocław.

POLAND Bielany Business Point in Bielany Wrocławskie has acquired a BREEAM in-Use certificate. The project, which has been developed by Megapolis (a subsidiary of the Holding 1 group), is app. 50 pct leased.

POLAND The Yoko office building in the Garnizon complex in Gdańsk has been officially opened. The investor behind the project is Grupa Inwestycyjna Hossa, while the exclusive tenant of the building is Swarovski Global Business Services. Swarovski was advised by CBRE in the process of choosing the location for its global service centre.
