Lublin looking for investors
POLAND The city of Lublin is looking for investors to develop two big plots in the city, and is planning the development of hotels retail and office space. One of the plots is in the district of Podzamcze, while the other is near the PKP railway station.

POLAND A mural inspired by the work of the Polish science fiction writer Stanisław Lem will be painted on the northern wall of the Galeria Krakowska shopping centre in Kraków. A competition is being held to find a design with the winner to be awarded PLN 15,000.

POLAND The Budimex Group has announced its H1 results. The parent company’s net profit came to PLN 194.6 mln in H1, compared to PLN 146 last year.
Colliers to manage Concept Tower
POLAND Colliers International has taken over the management of the 9,000 sqm Concept Tower office building in Warsaw’s Wola district. it was the first building in Poland to be awarded two green certificates: LEED Gold and BREEAM.

LITHUANIA Eften Real Estate Fund II AS acquired a complex of almost 30,000 sqm gla comprising two class A buildings with warehouse and office premises, in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone from Genesta Nordic Baltic Real Estate Fund I.

POLAND Polish footwear producer Wojas is to open a store in Galeria Libero, which is being developed by Echo Investment in the southern part of Katowice. The shop will have an area of almost 160 sqm.
Murapol building back at home
POLAND The Murapol group has signed a preliminary contract for the purchase of a 0.97 ha plot on ul. Żywiecka in Bielsko-Biała for PLN 4 mln net.
More space for IT Kontrakt
POLAND IT company IT Kontrakt will add 125 sqm to its offices on the fourth and fifth storeys in Sky Tower in Wrocław.

Turner and Townsend to manage V
POLAND Turner & Townsend Poland has been appointed as the project manager for the V. Offices project, an office building being built by AFI Europe in the centre of Kraków.

KiK comes to Kraków
POLAND KiK has signed a lease for a 600 sqm store in the Atut shopping centre on ul. Grażyny in Kraków. It will be the first store of the brand in the city.
Strabag to be paid a billion
POLAND Section I, a 15 km stretch of the A1 motorway between Woźniki and Pyrzowice, has almost been completed. A consortium of Strabag companies (Strabag Infrastruktura Południe and Strabag) has completed 50 pct of the trenches and embankments, as well as the underpinning of the foundation soil.
Offices on the increase
Across the globe, an unprecedented office building boom is underway with over 65 mln sqm of space under construction that will deliver between now and the end of 2019, Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Office Forecast reports. That’s the equivalent of recreating five cities worth of office inventory – Washington, DC, Dallas, London, Singapore and Shanghai – over the next three years.

EUR 133 mln financing Deal for Business Park Sofia
BULGARIA OTP Bank, its Bulgarian subsidiary DSK Bank and Postbank have granted a EUR 133 mln senior financing package to Business Park Sofia with Pricing set at 2.65 pct, plus the three-month Euribor, and a stated maturity of 2027.
