Construction of a modern retail park on ul. Spółdzielców in Mierzyn, just outside Szczecin, is entering its final phase. The project, developed by RWS Investment Group, is set to open in the third quarter of 2026 and will bring around 11,000 sqm of retail and service space to the local market.

This followed the purchase of the Jantar shopping centre in Słupsk earlier this year and its entry into the Romanian market. In 2024, it made an even bigger splash with the EUR 285 mln deal for six Polish shopping centres – which was voted CEE Transaction of the Year at the Eurobuild Awards. So, we spoke to the CEO of the Prague-based investor, Josef Malíř, about SCF’s approach to the ever-changing retail sector.
