Romania City Gate Office awarded latest LEED
The south tower of GTC's City Gate office complex in Bucharest has become the first building in Romania to be awarded LEED Gold v5 certification with a rating of Gold.

Poland Outstanding awarded to CTP
CTP has been awarded BREEAM certification for its WARS01 building, in the CTPark Warsaw South complex. The building, which is occupied by the Douglass perfumery chain, was assessed according to the International Refurbishment and Fit-out 2015: Industrial standard.

Four Homepark retail properties in the Pradera portfolio, managed by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, have been awarded a BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification rating of Excellent.

Hungary Budapest One now Outstanding
The Budapest One office complex has received the highest possible rating of Outstanding for its BREEAM In-Use certification. The project, developed by Futureal, has been acclaimed as the second most sustainable commercial building in Hungary for buildings with BREEAM In-Use, after the Etele Plaza shopping centre, another project by the same developer.

Poland Segro becomes still greener
Segro has completed the first stage of BREEAM In-Use certification for 16 buildings in Poland. The total area of the facilities came to 335,000 sqm, including buildings in Warsaw, Poznań, Stryków, Gliwice, and Wrocław.

The Lixa D office building in Warsaw has been awarded WiredScore 'Platinum' certification, joining the Lixa C and E buildings, which previously received the same rating. This confirms the highest quality of digital connectivity, telecommunications solutions, and emergency systems across the Yareal complex.

The B10 office building in Wrocław, owned by Vastint Poland, has been certified with a WiredScore Platinum rating. The certification is an assessment of such factors as the resilience and diversity of the telecommunications systems, the quality of the internet access, the use of the latest technology and the user experience.

Nestlé House office building, located at ul. Domaniewska, in the business district of Mokotów in Warsaw, has been awarded the prestigious BREEAM In-Use certification at the Excellent level. The property is part of the Hines Poland Sustainable Income Fund portfolio.

Does the market need a certification that evaluates actual energy consumption results with annual audits? Michał Wójcik, a sustainability associate at construction engineering specialists Cundall, introduces NABERS – a certification system developed in Australia and now successfully operating on the UK market.
